Where does my money go?
Your gift supports Tikuret’s programs: daily care and meals for children at God’s House, job opportunities for mothers at Acacia Cafe, and construction of the Gifted Hearts Center. It also covers urgent needs on the ground.
Is my donation tax-deductible, and will I get a receipt?
Yes. Tikuret is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 88-3880661). Zeffy emails you a tax receipt automatically after every donation.
Is my payment secure, and what is Zeffy?
Zeffy is a free donation platform for nonprofits. It processes payments through Stripe, so your card details are encrypted and secure. At checkout, Zeffy asks for an optional tip to support its platform. You can set it to $0, and Tikuret receives your full gift either way.
Should I give once or monthly, and can I cancel?
Choose one-time or monthly on the form. Monthly gifts give our programs steady support to plan around. You can cancel anytime through your Zeffy receipt. To change your amount, just get in touch.
Can I give by check, bank transfer, donor-advised fund, or employer match?
Yes, all four. Choose bank transfer on the form above. Make checks payable to Tikuret Association and mail them to Tikuret Association, 500 N. Washington St #4445, Rockville, MD 20850. For donor-advised funds or employer matching, get in touch and we’ll help you set it up.
Can I donate from outside the US?
Yes. Our form accepts cards from almost anywhere. Gifts are charged in US dollars, and your bank converts the amount. Tax deductions apply to US taxpayers only.
What’s the difference between giving and sponsoring?
Giving supports all of Tikuret’s work: care centers, programs, and urgent needs. Sponsoring is $100 a month matched to one family, with updates on their progress toward independence.
