In the Community
Built Around Mothers.
The outreach programs exist to meet families where they are and provide what they actually need to move forward. Free daycare so a mother can work, vocational training to earn, and sponsorship that covers the basic necessities.

Free Daycare & Feeding
Her child is cared for.
A mother can’t work if no one can care for her child. So the children come here, to safe care and nutritious meals all day. Their mothers go to work, or to training.

Skills Training & Craft Workshops (IGA)
She learns a skill, then earns.
Caring for a child with special needs often means giving up work. Here, she learns a craft people will pay for: baskets, bags and goods for the home. Tikuret provides the workshop, the materials and the buyers. When her work sells, she is paid: 4,000–8,000 ETB a month, earned with her own hands.

Acacia Café
Some mothers run the café.
Acacia Café is run by mothers from our programs. They earn a steady income serving good food. Every birr of profit goes back into the children’s care.

Sponsorship for the Basics
A sponsor walks with her.
One sponsor walks with one family. $100 a month goes into the family’s bank account for medical care, therapy, food, rent, and school.
The goal is a family that stands on its own within two years.
And when the holidays come, families receive food and financial support, so no family is left out when the year turns.
At God’s House
A First in Ethiopia.
Built by Tikuret.
It’s called God’s House for a reason. Before this facility, there was no residential care in Ethiopia for abandoned children with special needs. Tikuret changed that by creating a structured, safe environment where children feel at home.
24-Hour Medical Care
No child manages their health alone.
Many of the children at God’s House live with complex medical needs. Staff watch over them day and night, arrange care at hospitals in Addis Ababa and see every treatment plan through.
Nutrition & Monitoring
Recovery starts at the table.
Some children arrive severely malnourished. Here they get three meals a day, every day, with growth checked closely. Everything else builds on this.
Counseling for Child & Mother
The weight is shared.
Many of these children carry more than a diagnosis. They carry loss, abandonment, and years of being overlooked. Counseling helps them work through what they’ve lived, and caregivers are part of it too.
Schooling & Education
Every child learns at their own pace.
Classrooms in Ethiopia often have no place for a child with a disability. At God’s House, lessons follow each child. When a child is ready, we help them into formal school.

Gifted Hearts Center
Currently, the completed basement serves as the operational space for the IGA and daycare programs. Once fully completed, the Gifted Hearts Center will function as a multi-service facility providing physiotherapy, expanded daycare, and structured training and workshop spaces for mothers.
Twins Building – Specialized Hospital
Planned as a dedicated hospital for children with special needs, the G+9 Twins Building will provide specialized medical care, rehabilitation, therapy services, and long-term follow-up to address the gap in accessible specialized healthcare.
